Difference in CDI, ECU and Throttle Body in Motorcycles
CDI, ECU and Throttle Body in Motorcycles all have similar functions, with slight differences in how they help operate motorcycles. We focus on extracting codes from chips inside those components. Ask your local motorcycle garage if you are after mechanical knowledge of those different components.

What is CDI?

What is the ECU Unit?

What is the throttle body?
The throttle body is a metal tube containing a pivoting flat valve used to control the amount of air entering your engine. In motorcycles, the throttle body connects to the intake manifold butterfly valve.
Some throttle bodies have an electronic control unit.

What is the antenna used for?

Motorbike Key programming

CDI / ECU DECODING & PROGRAMMING
We pushed the limits for programming immobilisers for all bikes that left recoding key possibilities.

SPEEDOMETER PROGRAMMING
Some sport motorcycles and heavy motorbikes have their immobiliser system fitted in various places; one of them is a dashboard speedometer.

aerial antenna MATCHING
Certain Motorbikes have an immobiliser system matched to the different components on the bike. Antenna is a connecting link between the two elements.
CDI, ECU and Throttle Body in Motorcycles Programming

CDI, ECU Programming
We can extract codes from your ECU, CDI or throttle body and programme them with a compatible chip.

Smart Fobs
If you have lost your keyless smart fob, we can program you a replacement fob to work with your scooters ignition unit.

ECU Code matching
Some bikes need to synchronise 2 ECU units; we offer to match those two components on the safe frequency.
